Ferrum Comes Out on Top at Home

FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College won a non-conference field hockey game at home 1-0 against Hood College this afternoon at W.B. Adams Stadium.

Ferrum (1-5)
Hood (1-8)

Ferrum and Hood remained scoreless until the 55th minute of the game when Reagan Aldridge sent one to the back of the goal off of a Morganne Flinkstrom pass for the Panthers.

Mia Holmes played all 60 minutes in the net for Ferrum. Nicole Bennett was in the goal for the Blazers all 60 minutes of play.

Coach Austin's team will be back in action Tuesday, September 24, at Southern Virginia University. The non-conference game is set to start at 7:00 pm. in Buena Vista, Virginia.
