Gators Attack Panthers in Non-conference Contest

MEADVILLE, Pennsylvania -- Ferrum College dropped a non-conference field hockey game at Allegheny College, falling 4-0.

Vivian Super took the show for the Gators having two goals and an assist. Faythe Schulte scored the first goal from a Super pass. Megan Kramp finished the scoring for Allegheny from a Schulte pass. Heather Amancio and Hallie Reiger split time in net while posting a save in two quarters a piece for the Gators. Mia Holmes posted nine saves for Ferrum in 60 minutes of play.

Coach Austin's team will be back in action on Saturday, October 5, at home against Shenandoah University. The Old Dominion Athletic Conference game is set to start at 1:00 p.m. in W.B. Adams Stadium.
