ARLINGTON, Va. -- Felipe Artega and Kofi Mensah scored a goal each to lift Ferrum College to a 2-1 non-conference men's soccer road win over Marymount University this afternon at Long Bridge Park.

THE BASICS
Ferrum used a first half goal by Artega with an assist by Sam May to dictate the pace in the contest. The Panthers added some insurance in the 42nd minute when Mensah found the back of the net off a pass by Jeffery Calix.

Ferrum would concede a goal by Carlos Verona in the 49th minute, but that was as close as Marymount would get. Goalkeeper Daniel Golden got the win for the Panthers, notching one save in 90 minutes in net.

Crehan's team will be back on the pitch Wednesday, September 4, on the road at Methodist University. The non-conference match-up is set to start at 7:00 p.m. in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
