FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum needed extra time to top Southern Virginia, 4-3, at Penn-Roediger Field. Chris Resendiz ended the game in walk-off fashion with a goal, from a Sam May pass, 6:08 into the extra time period.

Leo Galpin, Felipe Artega and Enzo Guercio joined Chris Resendiz on the scorecard for Ferrum. Pol Lambea and Kofi Mensah added assists in addition for the Panthers.
Southern Virginia struck first, as Peysen Webster netted a ball just 2:07 into the game. Alec Grieve was next to score for the Knights, and Anthony Bowden rounded out the scoring for SVU.
Both keepers played the full 96:08, with Ferrum's Daniel Golden getting credit for the win and Jacob Solis taking the loss.
