CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Pol Lambea's goal in the 14th minute proved to be the difference for the Panthers on the road in a non-conference affair against Johnson & Wales (N.C.).

The Panthers only needed one to get past the Wildcats. Pol Lambea found the back of the net for Ferrum to lift his fellow Panthers to victory in the heat on the road. Daniel Golden gets the win in the net for the Panthers, sporting two saves and turning in another clean sheet. Vincent Diep took the loss in the net for the Wildcats, allowing the lone goal.
