Sarah Davis' RBI single to left center pushed the final run across the plate.
The score was tied 3-3 after an inning in the nightcap, then Hamlett reached on a fielders choice in the second, stole second and third, and scored on a wild pitch to make it a 4-3 game. Ferrum scored two more in the fourth inning when Allison McGehee reached on a fielders choice and drove in Eure and Hamlett. The Monarchs scored two in the bottom half of the frame to make it 6-5.

BEHIND THE WHISTLE
"Two great games offensively today against Methodist, recording 16 hits in each game. Was impressive to see Keri set a new school record for steals in a single game with five, and she had six overall today." --Head Coach Gerald Culler
Culler's team will be back in action Monday, February 24, at home against Piedmont International University. The non-conference doubleheader is slated for a 2:00 p.m. start.
