Panthers Too Much for Meredith

FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College won a non-conference women's soccer game 3-0 at home against Meredith College.

Meredith (1-6)

In the 37th minute, Ferrum did not hold back when Frances Best found the back of the net off a Casey Raggett assist. The Panthers kept the ball rolling in the second half when Ysabella Bettilyon had an unassisted goal in the 58th minute of play.

Best fed Melina Turner a ball to score the third goal of the game in the last seven minutes. Taylor Dodson played all 90 minutes in the net for Ferrum, posting two saves. Meredith's Miranda Lutz posted five saves in 90 minutes of play.

Saleeby's team will be on the road Sunday, September 22, at Salem College. The non-conference game is set to start at 2:00 p.m. in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
