Panthers and Spirits End In A Draw

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Ferrum College women's soccer team game ended in a tie on the road at Salem College this afternoon 1-1. 

Ferrum (4-1-1)
Salem (4-3-1)

Ferrum did not waste any time in scoring when Casey Raggett belted a goal in the 15th minute of play in the game off of a Frances Best pass. Salem answered that goal with a goal of their own from Amy Bounds off of a Martha Santos pass in the 24th minute of play. The game remained scoreless which forced into two overtime periods. Neither team could find the back of the net which left the game at a tie. Taylor Dodosn recorded seven saves in 110 minutes of play in the net for the Panthers. Hannah Wagner played the entire 110 minutes in the goal for the Spirits posting seven saves.

Coach Saleeby's team will be back in action Thursday, September 26, at Greensboro College. The non-conference game is set to start at 5:00 pm.
