GREENSORO, N.C. -- Ferrum College drops a non-conference women's soccer game on the road at Greensboro College 1-0 at Pride Field.

Ferrum (4-2-1)
Greensboro (6-3-0)

It was the second half of the game when Greensboro's Anna Rae Porcelli scored an unassisted goal in the 51st minute of play. Ferrum had multiple players take hard shots but just could not find the back of the net. Taylor Dodson posted five saves in 90 minutes of play for the Panthers. Kelsey Emrich only had one save in 90 minutes of play in the net for the Pride.

"The team played well today but Greensboro wanted it a little bit more than we did. We need to play with more heart and desire. We learn from these challenges and it will fuel us as we move forward." -- Head Coach Erin Saleeby

Coach Saleeby's team will be on the road on Friday, September 27, at Hollins University. The Old Dominion Athletic Conference game is set to start at 4:00 p.m.
