WINCHESTER, Virginia -- Ferrum College fell 3-0 to Shenandoah University in Old Dominion Athletic Conference volleyball action tonight at the James R. Wilkins, Jr. Athletics & Events Center. Set scores were 25-21, 25-20, 25-18.

Ferrum (3-14, 0-7 ODAC)
The first set was tight, with Ferrum grabbing an early 19-14 lead, only to see Shenandoah post a 11-2 run to close out the set. The two teams were tied at 11-all in the second set, but the Hornets pulled away steadily to take a two sets to none lead.
The Panthers jumped out to a 13-11 lead in the third set, but Shenandoah once again rallied came from behind and outscored Ferrum down the stretch with a 14-5 run to close out the match.
The Hornets got 10 kills each from Sabrina Semo and Keiran Turner, Megan Hillyard had 19 assists and Brooke Wagner added 12 assists.
BACK ON COURT
Coach Ruthanne Duffy's team will be back in action Saturday, October 12, at Virginia Wesleyan University. The ODAC match is set for an 11:00 a.m. start in Virginia Beach.
